Volunteer at Cahoots
Need volunteer hours? We need volunteers for a variety of tasks. Whether it's helping with the kids, or helping with special events, we provide several opportunities to give back get volunteer hours.
Positions Available
Whether your interest is in helping the kids, or if you have more of an interest in the behind-the-scenes stuff, we have several positions to fit whatever you are looking for!
Youth Support
Visitor- come to Cahoots, provide casual interaction and engage kids in conversation/activites
Mentor- maintain a formal match with a youth in need (more info available for this program)
Chaperone- supervise and interact with kids during planned events
Program Support
Special events- assist with set-up, operations, activities, and clean-up after event
Office- perform assigned tasks for clerical support or community contacts
Food donations- prepare snacks for support groups or special events
Transportation- drive own vehicle to transport kids to special events
Facility Support
Shopping- make occasional grocery trips for the cafe or deliver to a destination
Special projects- painting, repairing, or maintaining the building
Monthly cleaning- work with group monthly to organize and clean the customer area of the coffee house
Fundraising- assist the Ways and Means committee for fundraising events
